Summary of the Afterlife
The Afterlife is a story about life after death and the journey of a spirit. The story begins when the main character, Chuy, is stabbed in the bathroom for making a remark about a stranger's shoes. The story continues while Chuy journeys around his hometown of Fresno and visits his family and friends. There he meets a fellow ghost named Crystal and possibly falls in love.
The Afterlife tells a wonderful story. It shows that life can end at any moment, so we should not take it for granted. It also shows that, in some cases, we can take what we have for granted until it is gone. In Chuy's case, he takes his parents for granted, and realizes when hes gone how much he really misse them. In the end, The Afterlife is an amazing story of loss, hope, and love.

I think Crystal killed herself because she was very unhappy. Although she was upset at the time, I think Crystal regrets the decision of ending her life.
I agree totally with Vanessa. I just think that she was so unhappy that she was not thinking it through that well by ending her life. I would feel just like Crystal if I commided suicide. I would have wished I had never done it.
